The 2010 National Association of School Music Dealers Convention runs from March 24th to March 27th this spring. Held at the lush Marriott Resort in Hilton Head, South Carolina, the event brings together school music retailers, manufactures and service providers for four days of intensive networking and socializing.

NASMD, launched in 1962 by a group of school-focused music dealers who wanted to assert their voice in the music industry, convenes annually. Each year, a dense line-up of workshops and panels help music professionals better service the nation's schools and adapt to students' changing needs.

This year's line-up will include sessions on leadership, marketing, sales, personnel management, financial management, and more. Music professionals will also have ample opportunity casually interact on the grounds of the Resort, by the pool, or on the traditional NASMD golf trip.
